Oberliht Association invites you to attend the international conference Spa tert Public laid in Post-Socialism: inclusion, exclusion and practice claim, which will be held in Chisinau on 17-18 September, in the conference room of the Regency bond faro (str . Tarii no. 17, Chisinau), from 13:00.
The conference brings together researchers, architects, activists, curators and artists from Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Macedonia, Albania, Poland and Hungary, which are concerned with the study of public spaces bond faro and problems of defining and configuring them in the post-socialist.
The conference will be addressed issues related to the degradation of existing public spaces, infrastructure privatization of cultural-historical and sporting green spaces and other public properties, the use of public spaces and their transformation through bond faro profit activities. Also under discussion will be addressed a number of social phenomena like social bond faro exclusion groups (religious minorities, people with disabilities, people with non-traditional sexual orientation, vulnerable groups, etc.) for the use of public spaces, corrupt practices and lack transparency in privatization bond faro and public property management etc.
National and international experts will have the opportunity to present case studies in which civil society and citizen groups have mobilized and tried to oppose the process bond faro of diversion of public spaces, and managed to mobilize society to take civic attitude. Conference participants will discuss the concept of active citizenship and propose new forms of civic participation, designed to provide solutions for the development bond faro and harmonization of public spaces.
